The Child Benefit Program provides monthly financial support to children from birth to the age of 18 in the Sultanate of Oman. It aims to ensure a minimum level of social protection for this group in line with the commitment to promoting stability for all citizens and their families, especially during stages that require support in areas related to early education, care, health, nutrition and the formation of reliable human capital for the future.
The following conditions must be met in order to receive child benefits:

The ‘Benefit for Persons with Disabilities’ program provides monthly financial support to persons with disabilities in the Sultanate of Oman whose conditions require care and support to overcome the challenges of disability, whether the causes of disability are congenital or the result of a later onset. This benefit also targets groups that require support and care as a result of advanced stages of incurable diseases.

The ‘Orphans and Widows Benefit’ program provides monthly financial support to eligible orphans and widows to help them cope with the challenges of losing a breadwinner. This applies in cases where the orphan or widow’s share of the pension paid by social security branches is less than the value of the benefit, or in cases where there is no pension. The value of the benefit depends on the number of orphans in the family and whether both or one of the parents has died, depending on the circumstances.

The Family Income Support Benefit program provides monthly financial support to low-income families with limited earning opportunities. Eligibility for this benefit is based on family income and the earning capacity of family members, and the value of the benefit is linked to the number of family members and the total family income. The benefit aims to reduce poverty levels and improve living conditions for families.
